the swimmers guide of runescape

The Panphin was a supposed mythical creature that swam the waters of the world hunting unsuspecting swimmers. It was a hybrid cross between a male panther and a female dolphin which copulated to spawn the ultimate apex predator. The union of the graceful and efficient swimming style of the dolphin with the panthers stealth and savage arsenal of teeth and claws were thought to make this apex predator perfect; elusive and an efficient killer. Though recent reports suggest that the Panphin isn't as mythical as once thought... In recent ground breaking news it is thought that Merrick (a humble yet hilarious Australian radio host for Nova) glimpsed the beast lurking in waters off Bondi as he was frolicking in the shallows. He told the media that he initially swam in for a closer look, but reports of him struggling with a pigeons only weeks prior suggest that he probably legged it ASAP. It is suggested that so little is known about the Panphin due its efficient and clinical attacks thought to be at night or in the hazy light of dawn and dusk which to date have left no survivors or confirmed eye witnesses, resigning the Panphin to nothing more than just an urban legend for the past decade and the numerous deaths and disappearances of multiple Australians skinny dippers the tragic result of excessive drinking and treacherous waters. Some have even said the infamous disappearance of Prime Minister Harold Holt was at the paws of the Panphin! Over the past few days there have been hundreds of sightings and reports flooding in. What have you heard about the Panphin...? Latest Panphin Rumours Amy heard... the panphin is an aggressive manwhore, as it is trying to out do the liger by having sex more than 50 times a day, much like the bulldogs who get aggressive when told no. The Panphin heard... I'm featuring in an upcoming X-Files Movie that will be titled "Do You Believe, In The Panphin?" Eapot heard...That if you ever saw a panphin they would have to class you as and extinct species because all the known sighters now make up the extinct species list their main source of food is the catwhale a close relative of the sperm whale but seeming as the panphin did not like the name of that whale he moved onto the blue whale which was too big the panphin also has special receptors to pick up the radio at extreme depths this means that merrick will have to watch his back because a panphin never forgets. Scopey heard... that the panphin's left testicle is considered in Mongolia as the ultimate aphrodisiac. Sakib heard...the panphin is osama bin ladens secret weapon Linda heard... the Panphin was spotted in Sydney Harbour on friday... I heard...from a bloke at the pub the panphin uses his mighty brainpower to hypnotize Sam Newman and makes him say the things he says. Dane Eldridge heard... That the panphin has been sighted as recently as last friday in southern France along with sonny bill williams. Chris heard...the panphin is closely related to the Canadian couver, part cougar, part beaver. Very dangerous when fishing in the bush. Robbo heard......That the panphin is a load of crap and it could only exist in a stupid man's imagination aka merrick watts. Jason heard...that the U.S. Government has secretly been aware of the existence of the Panphin since the early 1930’s and that they have in fact been trying to train them to deliver high explosives to ships, not the common dolphin as previously believed. After these efforts failed, not due to a lack of intelligence but due to an innate high level of self preservation, the Panphin was later trained as a co-vert amphibious assassin, however the control CIA agent in charge of the trial subjects went rouge in the early 1970’s and have since been working to his own agenda, or to which ever organisations can afford his services. One such case is the staged disappearance of Sonny Bill Williams who in fact has been a victim of a Panphin attack, but has been covered up in the media with claims of fleeing overseas to a lucrative offshore contract. The Panphin’s unique abilities were secured by the NRL to insure that Sonny could no longer bring the game into disrepute. Mark Bishop heard... That a Panphin killed Flipper and assumed his identity because it thought that celebrity status would make is easier to score with the ladies. Kai heard... the panphin eats baby camels, so it can travel across the desert without water, for days on end.

music of runescape

When Runescape Classic was running there was no music for the F2P, but some music for the members. This has been improved on in Runescape 2, the current version as each time you enter a location you will hear a different piece of music which is especially for that place. If you haven’t heard that particular sound before then congratulations, you have just unlocked it in your Runescape music players. When you unlock any song it is added automatically to your Runescape music player for you to play as many times as you want at a later date, no matter where you are in the world of Runescape. Of course, members do get extra songs than free players because they can travel to more cities or dungeons and unlock that place’s tune.
You can see a screenshot of the music player to the right. If a tune has been unlocked then its text colour will be green, if not then it stays red.

24 skills in runescape

The 24 skills in RuneScape enable players to perform various activities within the game, allowing for interaction with NPCs, the environment and other players. Players gain experience points in a skill when they utilize it. For example, mining an ore trains the mining skill, and when the player accumulates enough experience points in the skill, their character will 'level up'.As the skill level rises, the ability to retrieve better raw materials and produce better products increases, as does the experience awarded if the player utilizes the new abilities. The total skill level of a player partly symbolizes the player's status in the game and the official RuneScape high score tables can be viewed by anyone. Upon reaching the highest available level in a skill (99), members may buy a special cape known as a "Cape of Accomplishment" or a "Skill Cape", to symbolize their achievement.
Some skills, such as woodcutting and fishing, enable the player to collect raw materials that can be processed into usable items for other skills, such as fletching and cooking respectively. The items created can be used by the player or sold to other players in game for a profit. Other skills allow players to kill certain NPCs, build their own houses, move around the map with greater ease, steal from various NPCs, market stalls and chests located in-game, cook their own food, create their own potions, craft runestones and weapons, grow their own plants, hunt NPC animals, and summon familiars to assist in combat and training skills.

the recent cheating that occurred

The recent cheating that occurred and the abuse of an exploit has been dealt with very seriously. We have excellent systems in place to catch and detect players who abuse bugs and have taken appropriate measures.
We have now banned 68 accounts PERMANENTLY, with another 48 receiving temporary bans. There are a further 117 accounts which have been temporarily banned while undergoing further investigation. These will be dealt with very shortly.
To give you some idea of the players involved, here are the ten highest-level players banned so far (based on total skill level):
2,376 total level (520 days of in-game time) 2,308 total level (477 days of in-game time) 2,210 total level (365 days of in-game time) 2,179 total level (1,004 days of in-game time) 2,131 total level (394 days of in-game time) 2,105 total level (202 days of in-game time) 2,102 total level (274 days of in-game time) 2,096 total level (448 days of in-game time) 2,022 total level (337 days of in-game time) 2,021 total level (275 days of in-game time) We’d like to remind everyone that using macros and abusing bugs is NOT tolerated under any circumstances, and we will ban ANY accounts that have been cheating.

Crafting Guild

The Ground Floor

You must be wearing a brown apron (bought from Thessalia's clothes store in Varrock) to enter the Crafting Guild building. The mining area of the Crafting Guild contains six clay rocks (level 1 mining required), six silver rocks (level 20 mining), and seven gold rocks (level 40 mining).

This floor is also home to a pottery oven, and four pottery wheels, located in the northern area of the guild. There is a hammer and chisel spawn on a table by the entrance, a jug and amulet mould spawn on a table by the pottery oven, and another jug spawn on the eastern side. There are nine cows (level-2) just outside the guild surrounded by a fence, and anyone can enter this cattle pen. There are also three master crafters here and a sink located in the southern part of the guild.

The Top Floor
Zybez RuneScape Help's Crafting Guild Top Floor Image

The top floor contains two spinning wheels in the north-eastern part of the room. There is also a tanner on this floor that can tan cow hides into soft leather (1 gp per hide), hard leather (3 gp per hide), and all dragon hides (20 gp per hide).

There are also five respawns on this level. A holy mould, a necklace mould, a tiara mould, a ring mould, and shears (moulds: on a table in the north-western part of the room; shears: on a barrel by the table).

Cooks' Guild

The Ground Floor

On the ground floor, you will find a flour bin, where the grain you put in the hopper comes out, a pie shop, a table with a chocolate bar on top (spawning once every forty seconds), a sink and the Head Chef. The sink is very useful when making pastry bases for pies, pizzas and breads, with jugs being found on the top floor. When you reach 99 cooking, you should speak to the Head Chef for the appropriate Cape of Accomplishment, which can be used instead of the chef's hat to enter the guild. There is also a bank there for members who have completed the Varrock Achievement Diaries and obtained Varrock Armour 3.

Zybez RuneScape Help Map of the Cooks' Guild Second Floor
The Second Floor

This floor contains a bowl, cake tin, cooking apple and a pie dish spawn, as well as a dairy churn and two cooking ranges. The pie dish and cooking apple spawns are helpful whilst making apple pies. Simply pick some grain in the field north of the Cooks' Guild, then come back to the guild, pop them in the hopper on the top floor, and pick the flour up on the ground floor. Then just grab some jugs, fill them with water and use them with the flour, and choose to make pie pastry, which you could add to the pie dish along with some apples. The dairy churn is for members only, and is used to make products such as cheese, butter and cream. The ranges here are the only ones in the Cooking Guild that are accessible if you haven't completed the Varrock Achievement Diary. You can use milk on the dairy churn to turn it into cream, butter, and cheese.

The Third Floor
Zybez RuneScape Help Map of the Cooks' Guild Third Floor

The top floor of the Cooks' guild contains the hopper, and a pot, cooking apple, jug and grapes spawn. When making flour, the pot is useful as it is the only item that can hold the flour so you can mix water with it. The jug can either be used to fill with water to make wine, or to be mixed with flour to form your chosen type of pastry.

Making wine here is a fairly good way to train your Cooking level, as the grapes and jugs don't take too long to re-spawn. You could either use one jug, and a full load of grapes, or half and half. Either way, when you've got enough, go to the ground floor, fill the jug(s) up with water then add the grapes. Either drink the wine or bank it in Varrock, if you wish to

Champions' Guild

The Basement

The basement of the Champions' Guild contains a large arena used by members for the Champions' Challenge mini game. Once you have received a challenge scroll, you will be told to come to this basement, where you will face the champion who challenged you. For more information, see the Champions' Challenge mini game guide.

Zybez RuneScape Help's Screenshot of the Champions' Guild Ground Floor The Ground Floor

Here you will find a cooking range, the Guild Master, chickens to kill, and a trapdoor. The trapdoor is for members only, and is discussed in the above section.

If this is your first time here, the Guild Master will tell you of the Rune platebody, and how to get it. This is also the starting point for the Dragon Slayer quest. He will also tell you a little about the Champions' Challenge. The Guild Master now gives you the maze key to access the map in the maze for Dragon Slayer (maze is above Rimmington and south-west of Falador.)

The garden at the eastern side of the house contains level 1 chickens, which can be good magic and ranged training for lower levels. Additionally, they can be used to gather feathers quickly. The range in the room behind the staircase is helpful if you wish to cook the meat you get from the chickens you kill.

The First Floor

The first floor is where you will find the Champions' Guild stores. Scavvo and Valaine stock items that are seldom traded elsewhere in RuneScape.

This floor also has a chest with nothing in it, and stairs leading back to the ground floor.

Miscellaneous

Canoes are a new transportation method for members. One can hop in a canoe and paddle from Lumbridge all the way up the Lum river to Edgeville! The canoes also stop next to the Champions guild. Check out the Getting Around guide to learn more about how to use canoes and where you can land.

Party Hats, Santa Hats and Halloween Masks

Runescape rate items or discontinued item are Runescape items that were introduced into the Runescape marketplace for a single day to celebrate a holiday, this is why some have chosen to give them the name of holiday drops. So on what holidays were these rare items dropped? They were dropped all over Runescape on Christmas, Easters, and Halloween in 2001 and 2002, but unfortunately were not dropped in 2003 when Jagex decided that the introduction of these rare items was detrimental to the Runescape economy in light of the fact that people were hording these holiday drops and they were becoming quite expensive items because they were rare. They have now become the most expensive items in Runescape by a long way with prices for these rare items now reaching millions of Runescape gold and no doubt some of the rarer party hats will soon be worth over a billion Runescape gold pieces.

Runescape Party Hats or Phats

Runescape party hats, often referred to as Runescape phats, were introduced into the game in Christmas of 2001. These Runescape party hats were not actually dropped in Runescape themselves rather they were introduced through the form of Runescape party crackers. These party crackers were dropped in Runescape for free and players were able to pick them up and then use them on other players. Then just like with normal party crackers inside there was an item accompanied by a party hat. One player would get the item, which was random, while the other player would get the party hat. Now at the time obtaining the item that the party cracker contained was normally far more valuable but within a matter of weeks these Runescape party hats became exceedingly valuable as people realized that there was obviously a limited number of them available.

So with the dropping of these party crackers and party hats a new market was created, the Runescape rare items market. People began collecting these party hats attempting to collect Runescape party hat sets which are basically where a player had all the different colors of party hats, which includes, blue, white, green, yellow, red and pink (purple). These Runescape party hat sets are now worth well over a billion Runescape gold which and there is a very vibrant market for these items.

Runescape Easter Eggs
The Runescape Easter eggs were dropped in Easter 2002 and unlike the wearable party hats were edible this time healing player quite a considerable amount of damage. Whilst these items are still traded and highly valued they are not as prolifically traded as the wearable Runescape rare items nor are they as sort after.

Runescape Halloween Masks
These Runescape Halloween masks were the second wearable holiday item that was dropped in Runescape. This time the masks were just dropped rather than being contained in another item unlike the party hats were, but like the party hats there were wearable. This time the Runescape market was more aware at just how valuable these halloween masks were going to be in the future and Runescape rare items began collecting them from the outset and many players collected all three Runescape halloween masks, red, blue and green to combine them into Runescape mask sets. These items like the Runescape party hats are exceedingly valuable, though not quite as valuable due to the fact that there were many more Runescape masks dropped and collected than party hats.

Runescape Santa Hats
The Runescape santa hats were the final of the Runescape rare items to be dropped as a holiday item. These santa hats were dropped for Christmas of 2002 and were like the masks in that people were well aware at this stage as to just how valuable these santa hats would become in the future and as such people again began collecting and hording them from the outset. Today these Runescape santa hats are the popularly traded Runescape rare item and of all the rare items available they are in the highest quantity still remaining in the game.

Runescape Rare Items Future
All of theses Runescape rare items are exceedingly valuable and their value is fairly likely to grow considerable higher in the coming months and years. The rates at which the market price for these rare items grows is amazing with most of these items more than tripling in value each year. It has already been mentioned that already a Runescape party hat set is worth well over a billion Runescape gold pieces and I’d imagine that it won’t be long until a single Runescape party hat will be worth over a billion Runescape gold pieces by itself.

Runescape Money Making Guide

Runescape millions is a guide to making millions of Runescape gp or gold pieces. This Runescape money making guide costs $5.50 to purchase and gives you some methods of making good amounts of Runescape money primarily via means of merchanting, which essentially is a practice in Runescape where players buy significant quantities of items for cheap prices and sell in high quantities at a premium price. Many have purchased the Runescape millions guide and have been relatively disappointed with the information supplied, this I imagine is largely because this Runescape millions guide is not really intended for the experience Runescape player rather is targeting a newer Runescape player that may not be aware of all the potential ways of making good returns on your time invested into Runescape.

The Runescape millions guide covers more than just the aspects of merchanting, it also covers the ins and outs of how to make good amounts of money off traditional skills like mining, fishing, etc and as a rule of thumb suggests that most players can earn around 100 – 250k an hour with such skills when used effectively and efficiently. However one of the major reasons why people are often unsatisfied with the Runescape millions guide is that apart from the merchanting section most of information contained within the guide can be found on all the popular fan sites, often in more comprehensive and update than in the paid guide.

That said the main aspect of the Runescape millions guide is that merchanting section, and whilst not explicitly said in the guide this is a skill that when utilized effectively can allow Runescape players to make over a million gold an hour. So whilst this money making guide isn’t for everyone, if you are a relatively new player and are interested in learning a bit more about how to make money in Runescape quickly and effectively it may well be worth the read.

Runescape Monsters

Raargh! Sorry, just having a short moment to myself after fighting so many Runescape Monsters. What is a Runescape Monster? You may be able to hazard a guess that metal dragons and the KBD are Runescape Monsters. Well, your correct, but even a level 2 Man is classed as a Runescape Monster. Anything that you can attack in Runescape is classed as a Runescape Monster.

Runescape Pures

A pure is generally someone who has a player that is high in a level like attack strength range or mage, and is based around the idea of being about 損urely?one skill ?thus the name pures.

There is a true pure and what people call an off set pure where the attack and strength or mage or range doesn抰 affect the combat levels. So for an off set pure Range like what I have he is level 80 with 80 range with 70 defense and a high prayer not a pure right? Well it is because look the range is where all of my combat levels are coming from. I am a member, I want a high defense level knowing about all the goodies members get to fight with and now I can uses barrows armor.

Another example of a off set pure level 99 range level 99 defense and level 52 prayer he would be about level just over 100 but now I can have give him 69 attack and strength without having attack and strength affecting the combat level at all. But now for people who don抰 see that as a long term goal to get to be one of the greats just want a low level pure PKer then I would say it like this. Level 1 - 4 defense levels per pure level to keep combat down but keep your defense for a pure strength I would say to begin with 40 attack is a must to wield a rune weapon, for members look into 60 attack for dragon weapons. For a pure mage 2-5 defense levels per mage level, keeping in mind you might want to get a few attack and strength levels to help you get your defense up when you want to get it up

Just something to keep in mind, people think that you need a low defense level to have a pure, but I fight pures all the time, and yes they can hit high sometimes 30s, but I am hitting them every time for 10s and 20s depending on the account I am on. You generally need a defense level that goes with your pure to help defend yourself.

Age Of Zaros

Prologue:
Guthix first came to the empty void now known as Runescape long before the first age began. He then created the world of Gielnor, now known as Runescape, and all of it's abundance. He created the natural laws that governed the order of things, and he created nature. He also created life. His new realm was flowing with life, including elves, dwarves, gnomes, and humans. Guthix saw that everything was peaceful, good, and in balance, and then he slept. Shortly thereafter, a new deity entered the world of Gielnor. His name was Zaros, but he was known as the Empty Lord. He used nature for his own good, and built cities and fortresses, forcing the creatures of Gielnor to be his slaves. He soon forged an empire more powerful than any other that ever existed. He ruled it with an iron fist, and used the Mahjarrat tribe from the realm of Freneskae as his soldiers. He also created creatures that are now forever gone from Runescape. Monstrosities that, according to most, we should be glad are gone. Zaros also had a goal, which was to dominate all of Gielnor, and to control it's vast population, and to harvest it's mass materials for himself.

Yet what is the most shocking of all this, is that he would have succeeded.

Chapter I

"The Islarin tribe has been wiped out, my lord..." Zamorak bowed down and knelt before his master, the Empty Lord of Runescape, whose spirit was mysteriously present on the throne inside the large dragon jaws inside the chamber. "They were no match for your magics, sire."
"Do you know of Amscut?" The deep, horrid voice of Zamorak's master seemed to ignore his victory.
"Yes, my lord," Zamorak raised his head from his bow. "'The Devourer,'"
"She openly mocks me, and defiles my lands with her wretched filth!" Zamorak began shivering from the anger in his Lord's words. "Destroy her army, and bring her to me."
"Is that all?"
"Go, now."
"Yes, my lord," Zamorak bowed and exited the chamber.

"SOLDIERS... MARCH!" Zamorak's chief lieutenant, Thammaron barked orders at the army of vampires and demons that were pouring out of Senntisten by the thousands, going south to annihilate Amscut 'The Devourer' and her undead or possessed army. Massive, Greater Demons flew low over the army, ready to defend them from the Wyrms, which were dragon-like beast of the air. They sometimes could become hypnotized by The Devourer, and Zamorak's horde took every precaution and always overestimated their opponent intentionally.
"How many legions are leaving?" the sting of Zamorak's voice always seemed to hurt Thammaron's ears.
"Ten legions, sir," Thammaron responded. "Amscut will pay for her insolence to our Lord!"
"Our forces will overwhelm her, but be careful, as she is not as brainless as her army suggests!"
"Yes, sir," Thammaron said.
"And one more thing," Zamorak's eyes seemed to pierce through his helmet as he looked at Thammaron. "Our master wants her alive!"
"Yes, sir!"

********************************

Ten of the army's twelve legions were assembled on the desert field in front of the lone mountain on which the Fortress of Pyrantia, the home of the Devourer, rested. Zamorak smiled. He knew that victory would be theirs.
"Azzanadra," he looked towards one of his master's top commanders and warriors. "Take three legions and go around the mountain and flank them. I want this battle ended by dawn! Destroy the fortress and bring Amscut back alive, am I understood."
Azzanadra smiled his demonic smile. "Yes, sir..."

Suddenly, a screech came from the fortress, followed by a war cry from thousands of undead and possessed creatures charging at the armies of Senntisten. Amsacut's army was mainly undead, zombie-like ghouls, and possessed humans whom the Devourer had cast a spell upon to hypnotize them to do her bidding.
"MAGES! PREPARE YOUR STAFFS!" roared Thammaron. "TAKE AIM!" Thammaron sucked in air to make his final call. "FIRE!" A wave of ice spells came crashing upon Amscut's possessed army, freezing the first three rows. Simialr shadow and smoke spells were fired as well, blinding and poisoning the front line. Then came the blood spells from the vampire Draynor, the most powerful of all vampires, and his target's life seemed to just drain away in a red smoke.
"DEMONS!" Thammaron bellowed. "BREAK THEIR LINES!" First the Greater Demons flew in, landing in the middle of the army and smashing them with their massive weapons and wiping them out, and then their lesser counterparts, along with many imps, came crashing into their already weakened front line, wiping them out with such ease and viciousness, that they knew that victory would come within the hour.

"To the keep!" Azzanadra pointed his diamond sword at the castle of Amscut. "Bring the Devourer out alive!"
Three legions rushed to the un-guarded backside of the fortress, destroying everything in their path, and killing the undead that inhabited the interior. Azzanadra lead the way to the highest tower, where Amsacut was fending off the Greater Demons sent by Zamorak. Azzanadra pointed his magical sword at her, and the ice diamond on his sword glowed as a silver substance shot at her, freezing her for several seconds, which was enough for the largest of the Greater Demons to grab her and bring her back to their Lord.

The now tiny forces of Amscut were retreating back to the fortress, only to be massacred by Azzanadra's forces that occupied the castle. Soon the forces were rounded up and slaughtered. The orders of Zaros had been carried out.

********************************

Amscut's lips trembled, along with the rest of her body, partly from the cold nights of Senntisten, and maybe because of her tattered and ripped robes, but mostly because of the Empty Lord's anger, and his power, which was enough to end her life in any second.
"You have mocked me time and time again!" she trembled at Zaros' voice. "Your wretched filth has defiled my lands! This will stop!"
"Y-y-yes l-lord Zaros," she stammered, and then began to cry. "J-just l-let m-m-me g-go free!"
"You are bound with adamantine chains, your army has just been annihilated and your power has been drained!" Treus Dayth, a cunning Mahjarrat warrior known as 'The Serpent' cut in. "You are in no position to bargain."
"Zamorak, get this wretch out of my court!" Zaros ordered. From the anger in Zaros' voice, not only Treus Dyth shook with fear. Zamorak grabbed him and dragged him across the courtroom and threw him into the courtyard. The Empty Lord turned towards Amscut, his evil appearance frightening her even more. Suddenly, Amscut dropped down and fainted. "Remove her from my sight!"
"Shall I kill her?" Zamorak asked.
"You have much to learn, Zamorak," Zaros spoke. "If you kill her, she will be freed from all suffering. Let her linger on in the desert, where she will remain for a milenia!"
Zamorak nodded, and cast a teleportation spell on the unconscious Devourer. Immedately, purple cubes surrounded her, then disappeared, and she was gone.

Several hours later, Amsacut awoke to a blinding sun and extreme heat. She looked up to see mountains rising above the desert ground. She looked behind her and saw huge cliffs. She was trapped. She tried to use magic to quench her thirst and relieve the heat, but it was no use. She fell to her knees and cried out with despair. At that moment, many thoughts came to her, but what she did not know was that she would be trapped in that desert for a thousand years.
